Twin City Toasmasters Membership Information
Meetings:
- Every Tuesday night
- 7:00 - 8:30pm
- First and third Tuesdays will be at the Fidelity Bank
on Leominster Connector/Mechanic Street Bypass.
- Second and Fourth Tuesdays are at the Leominster Public Library
in Downtown Leominster
- Everyone is welcome, there is no requirement to join.
- Members from other clubs are always welcome to visit us and speak at the meetings. Please contact the club to be placed on our schedule.
Membership:
- Dues: $42.00 every 6 months (2 times a year)
- New members pay on sliding/prorated scale based on when they join.
- New members pay one time materials fee of $20.00.
What your membership gets you:- Weekly meetings to practice your skills and evaluations to help you grow as a speaker.
- Toastmasters monthly magazine filled with great educational articles.
- Competent Communicator manual of 10 skill building speeches
- Competent Leader manual of 10 skill building projects
- 2 Advanced Communicator manuals to enhance your speaking skills.
- Chance to participate in twice yearly speech contests (at least at club level)
- Joint meetings with other clubs in the area
- Twice yearly conferences with other clubs in our District
- Yearly club and district leadership opportunities
- Opportunities to practice your speaking skills outside of your comfort zone and in the community
- A club library with every manual and module the organization produces.
Our Club is known for:- Our friendly and laid back atmosphere
- Visits from Mount Wachusett Community College Speech Classes
- Welcoming guests who desire feedback on speeches, but not ready to join
